Early on in my career as a practicing attorney, I questioned my career choice. I was not feeling fulfilled by my practice, and I felt that I had made a mistake. What to do? Do I stick it out for another 30 years? Do I look for another career? What is my calling? What else can I do? What do I want to do? What will make me feel inspired?

After consulting with a career coach, I discovered that my interests, strengths, values, and goals were not aligned with my career choice. I experienced firsthand the power of coaching, ultimately uncovering my passion for helping people and transitioning into a career where I have helped scores of people navigate their careers.
I have more than 25 years of experience in coaching, recruiting, professional development, and talent management. As the founder of B.side Coaching & Consulting LLC, I offer my clients a deep understanding of career management strategies and can instinctively tap into my client’s strengths, needs, and areas for development. Using a supportive, collaborative, and confidential approach, I help clients to move forward and flourish.
In my prior work, I was the Chief Legal Talent Officer at one of the largest law firms in Western New York, where I was responsible for the talent management of the firm’s attorneys. Before moving to Western New York, I served as the Director of Training and Development at two AmLaw 100 law firms, and as the Director of Professional Development at a global management consulting firm.

As a credentialed coach and longstanding member (and former Board Member) of the Professional Development Consortium, I am intimately familiar with coaching, professional development, and recruiting best practices and am professionally qualified to administer and interpret standardized qualitative assessments.
